How to Get Started.
Here are all the tools you need to get you started as an amateur apprentice!

As always remember to do this safely and with the proper tools. If you want to tattoo in a shop I recommend doing an apprenticeship with a certified tattoo parlor.

But if you want to do this on your own (with some help from GetInkedOn)....well you came to the right place.

Tip #1 - Hannah
"If you wondering what needle size to start with, from my experience I would start with a 7RL it is a very commonly used needle size. Not to big for small tattoos not to small for a beginner."
Tip #2 - Hannah
"Really work on needle depth, because no matter how slow you pull your lines, how steady your hand is, or how simple the design. If you go to deep you will blow out the line and if you don't go deep enough there won't be a line at all."
Tip #3
Don't get cocky, I've done a good amount of fake skin tattoos such as butterflies, people art, flowers and ext. on fake skin. But until I know I can do exactly what the person wants I don't do on skin. But hey just know yourself and whoever your tattooing and do whatever you can handle."
